Apaya…Apaya..Three colorful silhouettes do the ancient dance of Apaya. That is was what we see on the cover of the new System 108 release.

The soundtrack to this infectious ancient dance was composed and recorded by Moscow-based multi-instrumentalist Maxim Zaytsev aka Glonti.Mak, a frequent collaborator in the local live music scene (Lovanda, Kito Jempere and many more) and jam session curator. At one of those sessions, together with Adiiilya and Trelera on vocals, Vitaly Filonov on trumpet and percussion, the Apaya emerged. Leonid Lipelis, who is somehow the mentor and co-producer of this project, added an additional dance remix, in his very own style of jumping 808 drums, bright melodies and gentle hooks, based on his deep dance floor knowledge. Cable Toy rounds up the release with another dance cut, heavily infused by percussion and blasting groovy bass workout. Dancer, this is Apaya!
